We are pleased to announce our next meeting: We have invited principal cast members from the Canadian Opera Company’s production of Nabucco to join us on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 7.30 pm for an in person meeting at the Arts and Letters Club.
We will be joined by Mary Elizabeth Williams who sings the principal role of Abigaille and Rehab Chaieb, who sings her sister Fenena. We have also extended an invitation to Matthew Carins but are still awaiting a response.
Members will receive a link to attend virtually if they choose. For non-members who will to attend virtually a link will be provided soon.
Members may attend in-person (or virtually) for free. For non-members, a small donation will be requested, but non-members may attend in-person or virtually.

Soprano Mary Elizabeth Williams sings the principal role of Abigaille. Of particular interest to us however is that she has sung the powerful role of Isolde at the Seattle opera and is very interested in furthering her Wagnerian career.

Mezzo-soprano Rehab Chaieb grew up in Montreal and has had a huge world wide international career singing many of the main mezzo roles in the operatic repertoire. Here she sings the important role of Fenena in Nabucco.
