We are pleased to announce our first meeting of 2025.

Our next meeting will be on Thursday, January 23rd at 7:30 p.m. We are going to do something different this time and we hope you enjoy it.

For many years, our meetings have centered around guests who come out of the opera world: either as performers —the more usual meeting—and sometimes as directors or stage designers or even administrative persons who run opera companies. We have always profited and have been entertained by our wonderful guests through these many years.

Here comes something a little out of the ordinary! The six members of our executive committee are going to present a roundtable discussion and each one of us will tell the story in full detail of how we got interested in Wagnerian opera. We are sure there will be several different stories. Afterwards we will ask you, the members of the audience, how you got into this fach and how you found the Toronto Wagner Society. We want to know what your Wagner Story is. 

So between now and then, please try to remember how and why you became interested in this unusual pursuit.
