The Society is pleased to announce the first meetings of the 2025-2026 season as we continue to celebrate the 50th year of the Toronto Wagner Society!
The first two meetings of the year are hybrid meetings:
On September 16th at 7:30 p.m. we host the Canadian Opera Company’s (COC) Music Director, Johannes Debus as he discusses conducting and Wagner in specific.
On October 9th at 7:30 p.m. we host baritone Russell Braun. He recently made his conducting debut with the Edmonton Opera, conducting Die Walküre. He will be discussing conducting Wagner, especially as his first opera.
We welcome members, and non-members, in person at the Arts and Letters Club, in their Board Room on the second floor.
Members have free access to the meeting, non-members (both in-person and virtual) are asked to pay a small fee ($10) for access.
Members will be sent a link for the Zoom option for the meetings.
For non-members who wish to attend virtually, please check back shortly.
Then, on November 22nd, we will be hosting a get-together at the Arts and Letters Club to celebrate the Toronto Wagner Society’s 50th Anniversary. More details of the event will be provided in the near future, so please check back for more information.
