Michael Kupfer-Radecky, Jochanaan in the COC’s Salome

Tuesday, 28 February 2023 at 730pm ET by ZOOM

Mr. Kupfer-Radecky creates a remarkable Jochanaan in Atom Egoyan’s spectacular production of Richard Strauss’ Salome for the Canadian Opera Company.

Our Society’s Chair, Frances Henry, will discuss the creation of his characterization and his views of this production as a principal cast member. As Michael Kupfer-Radecky is not well-known to Toronto audiences, we are eager to hear about his recent and startling Wotan debut at Bayreuth.

Questions from attendees are welcome.
